DUTY/SHIFT OPERATION MANAGER

Richmond Olympus, private gym and squash club based in Richmond upon Thames with a great and easy atmosphere, lovely members and fantastic location are looking for a Duty Manager, to join our Team.

Our clientele is a mix of long-term members and visiting clients, who require a personable relationship and attention to detail. Our club requires working on shift patterns and taking the responsibility for the opening and closing of this 10,000 sq/ft facility. The best candidate will demonstrate flexibility to work over the various shifts and will be helpful and enthusiastic as well as occasionally having to cover her colleagues.

This is more than a Duty Manager role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of a gym, you’ll ensure the health, safety and enjoyment of customers and colleagues alike.

You’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the centre through member, customer and team interaction and as well for management of the whole club including freelance trainers, the studio, cleaners, stock and membership matters. That means everything from communication with members and maintaining quality standards in all areas, to conducting tours and resolving issues as quickly as possible. You’ll also oversee health and safety, and help achieve sales targets.

A successful Duty Manager will enjoy working with people and possess excellent standards of customer care and a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude to work You will be able to motivate your colleagues, meet and greet clients, motivate gym users and enjoy being able to make a difference to our guests and members throughout the whole facilities. You will also be committed to achieving the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance and safety, and be prepared to lead by example.
