Lifeline Fitness Equipment

Our equipment is from Lifeline Fitness, the go-to fitness equipment manufacturer. Although some may consider our equipment dated, it is a testament to the quality of Lifeline Fitness machines that ours are still running strong after many years of use. The only difference between our equipment and the newer models is that, thankfully, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to start your workout! Having a matching set means that there is familiarity between the equipment, no more randomly pressing buttons until something beeps and you see "start".

6 x Treadmills | 5 x Crosstrainers | 5 x Bikes | 2 x Recumbent Bikes
4 x Concept 2 Rowers | 1 x Stepper | 10 x Spin Bikes.

Free Weights

We have a complete set of dumbbells that start at 2 kg and go all the way up to 50 kg in increments of 2 kg (i.e. 2 kg, 4 kg, 6 kg...). This means you wont need to make a large jump between weights and can get just the right level of challenge.

Next to the free weights, we have the squat rack and an area for deadlifts. The squat rack has safety rails in case that final rep didn't go to plan and you need to get out from under the bar safely. We are looking to increase our stock of dedicated bumper plates for deadlifts. Upstairs we have the bench press and a selection of bars (10, 15, 20, 25, 30 kg). You'll also find the EZ curl bar that accepts the plates from the bench/Smith.

Cables & Smith Machine

We have two cable machines: a dual adjustable, and a fixed crossover. Cables are great for isolation exercises and are extremely versatile due to the various attachments. We currently have: stirrup handles, straight bar, revolving curl bar, tricep & curl bar, seated row/chin bar, tricep rope, and a multi-exercise bar.

Our Smith Machine combines the feel of free weights with the safety of traditional resistance machines. A very useful piece of kit that allows the user adjustable racking height as well as limit stops in case things go south. Great for unsupervised compound movements or for when you want to overload.

Resistance machines are great to target specific muscle groups and more importantly, safer to operate than free weights. Our machines have weight listed in kilograms and are in increments of 5 or 7 kg. We have additional weight blocks of 2.5 kg if you want something in-between what the machine can offer. Each machine has an instructional diagram which showcases how to conduct the exercise correctly and which muscles are being worked. We currently have the following machines:

  • Shoulder Press

  • Chest Press

  • Pectoral Fly/Rear Deltoids

  • Lat Pulldown

  • Seated Row

  • Dip/Pullup Station

  • Leg Extension

  • Leg Curl

  • Leg press

  • Hip Abductor

  • Hip Adductor

There's nothing quite like hopping in a hot sauna after sweating it out in the gym or on the court. Just inform the staff member on duty on your way in that you intend to use it and they will happily switch it on for you!
